Comparison
Sovian vs Modash
Modash is a search engine for creators with tracking bolted on. Sovian is the tool for running the roster once you have one. The practical difference shows up on the invoice: paying creators through Modash means the $499 plan, and Sovian includes payouts at $50.

The short answer
Modash publishes its pricing, which is rarer in this category than it should be. Essentials is $199 a month billed annually ($299 monthly) and covers 2 seats, 300 profile analyses, 150 email unlocks and content tracking for 100 creators. Performance is $499 annually ($599 monthly). Enterprise starts at $14,700 a year.
Creator payments only appear from the Performance plan up. So the real comparison isn't $199 against $50, it's $499 against $50 for a program that actually pays people.
Sovian is $50, $150 or $400 a month plus a flat 5% on payouts, with payouts on every tier including the cheapest. The entry plan tracks 1,000 posts across up to 10 creators.

The payments line is the one to read twice
Modash includes creator payments from Performance, at $499 a month on annual billing. Essentials at $199 doesn't, so a program on that tier is still paying people through a bank transfer and a spreadsheet.
Sovian includes payouts at $50. The engine handles base pay, flat or bracketed CPM, bonus tiers, salaries and per-creator overrides together, plus a flat 5% on what goes out.
So at the point where both products actually pay creators, the gap is $449 a month.
A database and a workflow solve different problems
Modash indexes 350M+ profiles and sells search across them, with audience demographics and unlocked emails for cold outreach. If your bottleneck is finding names nobody else has contacted, that's what it's for.
Sovian starts from people who've opted in. A smaller pool, reviewed by a person, plus creators applying to your public campaigns directly. Then everything after that: scripts, drafts, approvals, tracking, payouts. Which one you need depends on whether you're stuck finding creators or stuck working with them, and most brands are stuck on the second one for longer.
Tracking is priced differently, so model it
Modash charges by creator tracked: 100 on Essentials, 250 on Performance. Sovian charges by post: 1,000 on Starter, 5,000 on Growth, 20,000 on Scale, with creator caps of 10, 50 and 500.
For ten creators posting weekly, Sovian's $50 plan covers about two years of posts. If you're watching 200 creators loosely without paying most of them, Modash's shape fits that better.
Which one should you pick?
Sovian is the better fit when…
- Paying creators is part of what you're buying software for.
- $199 to $499 a month is more than the program justifies right now.
- The job is scripts, approvals, tracking and payouts, not cold search.
- You want an AI assistant over your own campaign data, and MCP access from your own tools.
Modash is the better fit when…
- Cold-finding creators from a huge index is genuinely your bottleneck.
- You need audience demographics and follower-quality checks before committing budget.
Frequently asked
For running and paying a roster, yes, at a quarter of the price. Modash is a creator search database with tracking on top; Sovian covers sourcing from a vetted pool, scripting, approvals, tracking and payouts. If your problem is cold discovery across 350M profiles, Modash does something Sovian doesn't.
As published on both sites in August 2026, Modash is $199 a month on annual billing ($299 monthly) for Essentials and $499 annually ($599 monthly) for Performance. Sovian is $50 ($40 annually) for Starter and $150 ($120 annually) for Growth, plus a flat 5% on payouts. Creator payments are on every Sovian plan but only from Modash's $499 tier up, so the like-for-like gap is $449 a month.
Not in the Modash sense. Sovian's pool is reviewed by a person rather than indexed from every public account, and creators apply to your public campaigns directly. There's no 350M-profile search with demographics and email unlocks.
